Sleeves

Davlyn Group produces a variety of high temperature sleeves that are commonly found in pipe, hose, and cable protection and insulation applications where environments may include fire, molten metal, extreme heat, and weld splatter. Fiberglass sleeves are available in knitted and braided forms and are suitable for temperatures to 1000°F (540°C). These sleeves can also be coated with a high-grade silicone elastomer to provide the ultimate protection against molten metal splash and direct flame. Tephrex® knitted basalt sleeves are typically found in heavy truck and generator exhaust applications given their ability to withstand temperatures up to 1382°F (750°C). Tetraglas 3000® silica sleeving offers protection to 1800°F (980°C). Finally, we produce para-aramid sleeves that combine flame resistance with excellent strength and abrasion resistance.
